Rewards for Professional Certification

The application period for Professional Certification rewards is announced on i-touch each semester. For detailed information and related form downloads, please refer to the school’s announcements. Study Group in CYCU

  1. Purpose of the activity To create a self-learning campus and enhance students’ learning effectiveness, encourage students to learn autonomously through peer learning, and generate peer influence.

  2. Application method Go to the CYCU homepage → Current Students → i-touch Announcements → Scan the application form QR code and complete the form.

  3. Application target All current students of the university (including undergraduate and graduate students). Each study group should consist of at least 5 and no more than 8 members, as well as one advising teacher (who is currently teaching at the university in the semester of application).

  4. Execution method Students must complete 8 meetings during the execution period, and one meeting must take place at the “Lecture-Learning Village” on campus. Participants must also submit the required materials through the i-learning platform. After completion, fill out the reward distribution form, and the Center for Learning Enhancement will distribute the rewards accordingly.

  5. Reward content: Each group will receive a reward of NT$2,000. Each member will receive an online certification for “Whole-Person Development”. The advising teacher will receive a certificate of recognition.

  6. Application period The application information will be announced on the first day of each semester on i-touch.

  7. Related regulations Implementation of the CYCU Peer Study Group Project.

Academic Performance Award

  1. Activity purpose Rewarding undergraduate students for their efforts in academic studies and promoting academic progress through group learning and mutual support.

  2. Application method Log in to i-touch > Academic > Teaching Website > Learning Convenience Portal > Academic Performance Award Application.

  3. Eligibility Undergraduate students (including those who have resumed their studies) who have received scores in the previous semester, with at least three students in each group (excluding extension students).

  4. Execution method The results of the academic performance award will be announced at the beginning of the next semester, and the award ceremony will be held during the mid-term exam period.

  5. Award qualifications The average improvement in the group’s semester total score is at least 5 or 3 points. The award is open to undergraduate students (including graduating students) of the university. If any member of the qualifying team has not improved their performance, that member will not be eligible for the award. Anyone who fails to collect the award during the open ceremony will be considered to have forfeited it.

  6. Award content Certificate of commendation. Each member of the team will receive NT$500 in cash if the average improvement in the group’s semester total score is at least 3 but less than 5 points; each member will receive NT$1,000 in cash if the average improvement is at least 5 points or more. (Award money is subject to availability)

  7. Application period The relevant information for each semester will be announced on i-touch at the beginning of the semester.
