As technology rapidly advances, the tendency of global education has transferred from traditional industrialized knowledge to cross-disciplinary integration of knowledge applied in the knowledge economy.
Most advanced countries generally have a field of technology that integrates science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and design. In Taiwan, the Ministry of Education has included technology into 12-year Basic Education to cultivate students’ technological literacy.
To cope with the lifestyle brought about by technology and to enable students to use technology for learning, ultimately become a competitive modern citizen.
Industry talent is the foundation of national strength and the most important foundation of creating Taiwan’s economic miracle. Talent development heavily relies on quality education.
Especially in the era of global digitalization, countries around the world are constantly promoting the quality of education, thus, Taiwan is also actively promoting emerging technology.
By hosting this workshop, we inspire the lecturer and students’ interest in emerging technology and encourage lecturers and students to participate in innovative teaching and learning program.
