Teaching is a journey of shared exploration with students. I often reflect that as an educator, I must continually listen to my students and engage in deep reflection, guiding them to develop problem-solving skills while fostering professional competence, professional ethics, humanistic care, and social responsibility. As Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching states: “In the pursuit of learning, every day something is acquired; in the pursuit of Tao, every day something is dropped. Less and less is done, until one arrives at non-action.” Life is a continuous path of self-learning and growth. While academic pursuit thrives on daily accumulation, the cultivation of character lies in “daily shedding”—requiring constant self-awareness to correct our errors. Having the privilege of exploring and growing alongside my students is the most fulfilling reward of being a teacher.

教學是一段與學生共同探索的歷程。常以此自省：身為教育者應持續傾聽學生、砥礪反思，引導他們培養解決問題的能力，並能兼顧專業能力、工作倫理、人文關懷與社會責任。老子道德經有云：「為學日益，為道日損。損之又損，以至於無為」。人生是一條不斷自我學習與成長之路。做學問可以日積月累、愈多愈好；但心性的學習卻在於「為道日損」，需不斷透過自我覺察來修正錯誤。有幸能與學生並肩探索、共同成長，是身為人師最豐盈的收穫。
