In 1992, I entered the field of education and posed a question to myself—a question that persists even now: “What defines a competent teacher?” Over time, I’ve come to realize it’s not just a question but also represents an ultimate goal. Hence, every year, I find the need to reevaluate, adapt, and transform myself. Despite teaching for eighteen years, I still feel that I am not yet a proficient teacher. This realization serves as an intrinsic drive for continuous growth. Fueled by this motivation, I push past the past, strive in the present, and race towards the benchmark, hoping to inch closer to that ultimate goal with each passing day.
