Having been engaged in teaching for more than seven years, I have always been pondering: with the changing times, students today have diverse learning channels and their learning methods are vastly different from us who received spoon-feeding education in the past. The learning environment is no longer limited to the classroom on campus. How can I help students maintain their enthusiasm for learning and not lose the perspective of “university” in such a diverse learning format?
I deeply feel that keeping up with the times and communicating with an open mind, and exchanging all that one has, rather than making stale demands for students to follow, is the foundation of teaching in the present era. Infecting students with one’s own youthful passion, even if it seems extravagant and absurd, and rediscovering the enthusiasm for teaching is also a way to continuously refresh oneself.
