As I began teaching, I was worried about my lack of experience, so I attempted to use the methods my previous teachers had used. It was fortunate that Chung Yuan Christian University offered a wide variety of resources, including mentoring programs, teaching consultations, English enhancement workshops, teaching certification programs, and innovative teaching workshops. Through classroom observation and frequent consultation with other teachers, I also gradually came to understand that modern students need their learning motivation to be stimulated. Thus, I explored various teaching methods that were suitable for the course and objectives, including problem-based learning (PBL), activity-based learning, and MOOCs. I hope these will increase students’ interest and efficiency in learning through diverse methods, thereby allowing them to apply what they have learned. By evaluating students’ feedback, I was able to identify areas for improvement in my teaching. It would be wonderful if the process of mutual growth brings joy and a sense of accomplishment to both students and myself.

剛任教時由於缺乏教學經驗,我忐忑地依循以前老師的教學方式試著授課。所幸中原大學提供豐富的資源,如新進教師研習營、Mentor制輔導、教學諮詢、英語增能研習活動、教學專業認證學程、創新教學工作坊等。也經常向其他老師請益,並透過實際課堂觀察,逐漸理解到現代學生的學習動機需要被激發。於是針對不同課程內容和目標,嘗試各種教學活動,包括PBL、活動誘發學習和磨課師課程等,希望以多樣化方法提高學生學習興趣和效率,進而學以致用。而學生的回饋讓我了解教學上可能改善之處,期能在教學相長的過程中,彼此找到樂趣和成就感。
