The teaching methodology should not get stuck in a nut due to the identical difference of students and the uniqueness of each course. Different teaching methods should be adopted according to students and courses to create the proper learning environment. Only in this way, students’ potential can be inspired and they can take the initiative to learn and pursue self-growth.
Since civil engineering is an applied science, it’s important to teach how to transform theories into reality. I have on-site practical experience with engineering design background and actively participate in cooperative education, industrial/academic cooperation projects, construction inspection, design review and extension education. The civil engineer relevant facilities, construction methods and other activated teaching materials were integrated to become teaching aids to improve the learning interest of the students.
由於學生個別差異及各課程之獨特性,因此教學方法不可一成不變,需配合學生與課程運用不同教學方法以營造合宜學習環境,方能啟發學生潛能,使學生主動學習,更進而追求自我成長。由於土木工程為應用科學,如何將書本理論轉化為實體,為教學上重要要素。此部分因本人有現場實務經驗及工程設計背景,加上積極參與建教、產學合作案、施工查核、設計審查及推廣教育等,可統整與土木工程相關設施、工法等活化教材,做為教學輔助以提高學生學習興趣。
