Influenced by holistic education and John Dewey’s philosophy, I engage students in developing critical thinking, empathy, and cooperation through hands-on activities and social engagement. This approach helps them understand their connection to the world and grow into well-rounded individuals with civic literacy.
Building on this philosophy, I’ve designed courses like ‘Sociology of Everyday Life,’ ‘Big Issues of Globalization,’ ‘Taoyuan Studies,’ and ‘Philosophy of Life.’ These courses aim to empower students, equipping them with the inner resilience needed to face an uncertain future. Ultimately, they embody the core values of holistic education, fostering mutual growth between teachers and students, and enriching all our lives.
