許秀貞

My teaching covers two main areas: language skills training and courses in language teaching theory and research. In both speaking and writing classes, I emphasize meaningful language output and strive to foster a supportive, student-centered environment that encourages self-expression and builds confidence. Speaking courses focus on real-time interaction and communicative fluency, while writing courses highlight logical organization and the clear articulation of ideas. I believe language learning involves more than mastering grammar and vocabulary—it is also a process of cultivating critical thinking and effective communication skills.
In theory- and research-oriented courses, I emphasize the practical application of theoretical knowledge. By using concrete examples and drawing on teaching experiences, I guide students in bridging abstract concepts with real-world classroom practices. I also encourage them to develop their own teaching philosophies and research capabilities. To promote active learning, I incorporate pair work, group discussions, and other interactive tasks, while continuously adjusting instructional strategies to meet learners’ needs.
Furthermore, I integrate technological tools—such as voice blogs and web-based collaborative writing platforms—to extend learning beyond the classroom. My approach to assessment is diverse and transparent, supported by careful attendance tracking and individualized feedback to enhance student accountability and performance. Grounded in student needs, my teaching philosophy reflects a commitment to ongoing professional development and instructional excellence.

我的教學工作涵蓋語言技能訓練與語言教學理論兩大領域。在口說與寫作課程中,我重視語言輸出的培養,致力於營造友善、支持的學習環境,鼓勵學生勇於表達,建立語言使用的信心。口說課著重即時互動與溝通表達,寫作課則強調內容的邏輯組織與觀點的清晰呈現。我相信語言學習不只是語法與字彙的累積,更是訓練思考與表達能力的過程。
在研究導向課程中,我強調「理論需能落地」,透過具體實例與教學經驗分享,協助學生理解抽象概念與實務應用之間的連結,並鼓勵學生發展個人教學觀點與研究能力。我亦重視課堂互動,透過配對練習、小組討論等方式提升參與度,並依據學生反應彈性調整教學策略。
此外,我運用科技工具,如語音部落格與線上協作寫作,延伸課堂內外的學習經驗。評量方面,我採多元方式並提供即時回饋,搭配出席管理與關懷輔導,提升學生的學習責任感與整體表現。我的教學核心為「以學生為本」,並持續精進教學品質與專業素養。
