I place great emphasis on cultivating students’ critical thinking skills. To achieve this, I prepare psychology-related topics within the course curriculum. I encourage students to first contemplate and discuss these topics based on their own understanding. Subsequently, I introduce the accumulated theories and perspectives in psychology regarding these issues. Through this interactive process, students gradually discover the diverse viewpoints on a single problem. They also learn that existing knowledge can serve as a foundation for thought, but it is not necessary to limit their thinking within the boundaries of current knowledge.
我非常重視學生是否具備對知識的思辨能力。因此,我通常會為課程準備一些心理學相關的議題,讓同學們先針對這些議題進行思考和討論,分享各自的看法。接著,我會再介紹心理學領域過去對這些議題的相關理論與研究成果。透過這樣一來一往的過程,同學們可以逐漸發現針對同一個問題有多元的觀看角度,並且了解現有知識可以作為思考的基礎,但不需要將思考囿限於現有的知識之中。
